….I was so glad to have my telephoto lens on my Lumix camera

… made a To Do List today and listed 12 jobs
The rain came down so heavily today that I figured it was a good day to do things around the house. One of the first things I did was go through my closet and dresser and pull out most of my summer clothes. After I removed some sweaters and long sleeved shirts from my storage bins I replaced them with the summer things.

I managed to complete 10 of the 12 jobs that I posted. Looking out my back door earlier today I noticed that there was a lot of activity on my deck and around the bird feeder. I guess squirrels and birds have to eat even in the rain.
A while back, I had stopped using my Panasonic Lumix camera because of a problem. I really thought it was toast but after discussing the issues with Cee she went to the Panasonic website and she suggested that I put all the settings back to the factory settings it came with. Success!!! That small change did the trick. The following photos were taken with the telephoto lens on the Panasonic through a glass door.

Going back to 2018 when we were in London, England I spent a few days at the V&A, exploring the art, the architecture and the special exhibitions. I even spent some time there drawing the sculptures. Here are two shots for past squares of circles.

Looking outside my back door on Sunday morning. I will be doing this every Sunday for awhile. It will be interesting to see the changes over the next few months.
I decided against filming outside my front door because the view is often obstructed by the parked cars and the sun rises on the back side of the house. If I get up early enough I might be able to catch a sunrise.

On a trip today to Guelph we ventured over to the Arboretum. It was just underway when I went to school there, some 50 years ago so many of the trees are now very mature. The colours were beautiful but to my surprise there were numerous and interesting statues and sculptures on the grounds. Here are just a few.

Going for a walk through the Lady Eaton Drumlin in Peterborough, next to the university, was beautiful and very much uphill until it was time to come back down. Thank goodness for some rest spots. Although a bit wonky and worn they did the trick.

My daughter posted this photo of her and her brother and sister from 38 years ago on our Family Page yesterday. It’s one of my favourite photos. Recently I put together a photo tribute for my Dad’s memorial and I came across this trio of my Dad, Mom and her sister, taken about 30 years ago.

My first attempt at abstract, many years ago, involved circles and it seems to be a shape I keep coming back to.
