A Photo a Week Challenge – Blue
…thanks to Nancy Merrill for hosting the Photo a Week Challenge
My second most favourite colour is blue. Here are my entries for the theme blue.
Tuesday Photo Challenge – Memories
….thanks to Frank over at Dutch Goes the Photo for hosting Tuesday Photo Challenge
I know I’m a bit late for this week’s challenge but better late than never. I particularly liked this week’s theme because it’s so open ended. So I went back a year ago to see what memories I could stir up.
A year ago I spent quite a bit of time with my Dad (the oldest member of our family) and my granddaughter (the youngest member of our family). My Dad and the family attended a wonderful wedding together, the two of us went to the Royal Winter Fair and I accompanied Winnie to the park, lunch at a restaurant and the Hamilton Santa Claus Parade.

Kammie’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge – Oct. 25, 2018
….thanks to Kammie from the Nut House Central for hosting the Odd Ball Challenge
This week’s photos are from the Highgate Cemetery, an art installation, flowerpot art, Clifford the Dog and my granddaughter’s quirky pumpkin that we worked on together.
Down a Random Road
….thanks to Traveling at Wits End for hosting the Weekly Photo Challenge
On Thursday we drove to the cottage to close her up for the season. We took our usual route but along the way we came to a detour and ended going down some random country road we’ve never travelled before. It was interesting to see some different countryside. All these shots were taken from a moving car.
Which Way Photo Challenge – Sept 7, 2018
…thanks to Son of a Beach for continuing the Which Way Photo Challenge
Walking from one volunteer job in the west end of Toronto to another in the downtown area (I took the subway in between).

Sunday Trees – 356
….saying good-bye to an old friend
Today as I was packing up the car to leave the cottage I heard a crack and when I turned around I saw the two main branches of the old beech come crashing down. There was no wind and no rain at the time. I guess the core of the tree had become weak or infested and just couldn’t bare the weight anymore.

Thanks to Becca Givens for hosting Sunday Trees
Word of the Day Challenge – Leisure
