…trios from the pet store
As I explained in my previous posts I haven’t posted anything in over two weeks, due to renovations, family visits from London and illness. So this post is somewhat late but as I have said many times it is not imperative that Thursday Trios have to be posted on Thursday. A couple of days ago I stopped into the pet store to just look around. I quickly realized that I was missing owning a pet but I don’t think we’re quite there yet to take on the responsibility of taking on any kind of pet for awhile yet. We’re hoping to travel some more this spring and pets just complicate the process.

If you have any trios to share just copy my link and paste it into your post. Now that I’m back to blogging I’ll be sure to check out your post and leave a comment.
….all this rain is keeping poor Tonguely in bed and as a special request Kevin has resurrected Fishy Friday (for now anyway)
I thought frogs liked the rain. It seems that Tonguely has other ideas and would rather stay under the covers. I can’t say I blame him.

One of my blogging friends asked me if Kevin ever drew fish. I totally forgot that he started with fish long before Monster Monday and Wacky Bird Wednesday. To my surprise he drew a new fish. So here it is Judy, just for you.
…thanks to Sandy from the Sandy Chronicles for hosting this week’s Friendly Friday Photo Challenge
I could look for ‘orange’ items or re-image some older photos to take on an orange hue. All these photos were orange to begin with with one exception. Can you guess which one was altered? They were all edited somewhat but one changed colour completely.
….thanks to Travels and Trifles for this week’s theme
This week’s theme is very long and detailed so I’m cutting and pasting the instructions here:
This week we’re going on a Treasure Hunt! The challenge is to search for specific items – either from your archives or newly captured – from the list below. Extra credit items are a bit more challenging. Focus on quality over quantity and hit us with your best shot(s)!
My favourite portrait of my granddaughter.
….thanks to Cee for hosting the Black and White Challenge
In the warmer weather he’d be standing on water when the fountain is working.

….thanks to Lens-Artist Photo Challenge for this week’s theme
Yesterday I went to the Toronto Zoo and took my Panasonic Lumix camera with the wide angle lens. I had a little bit of difficulty with the settings but I did manage to get some interesting close-ups of some of the animals.
