…day 24 & 25
All the buildings and trees in this piece were made with one continuous line. Then the colour and details were added.

…thanks to Judy Dykstra-Brown for hosting this challenge https://judydykstrabrown.com/2025/02/03/the-numbers-game-59-feb-3-2025-come-play-along/
Here are the photos that popped up when I typed 180 into the search box.

…Kevin has started drawing wacky birds again
Here is his first one for 2025.

…over a collaged page
I did not use a photo or a model for this portrait. It’s just a fun face with eyes that are way too big and the lower portion is too narrow and not long enough. I will play with this style again.

…coloured circles and black and white ink
I stayed up late last night working on this piece and finished it when I got back from baking at the Inn and taking my three woven pieces to the art gallery.

…day 20 of my daily art challenge
One of my goals in art this year is to get better at sketching. This is my fourth drawing of dogs.

…some pieces just take longer to complete
I love this type of art. I find the process very relaxing and it can’t be rushed. It’s a cross between Zentangle and slow drawing patterns that Amy Maricle promotes.

…on a previously prepped page in my journal

…finished just in time to enter in the next members show at WAAC
In February the members show at the Women’s Art Association of Canada is titled Monochrome Moments. After making the smaller piece on Monday evening, I decided to make two larger pieces for the show yesterday. Weaving on canvas is a lot of fun.

Both these pieces are 12 x 12 x 2 inches.
