A lovely finger bowl and under plate made of hand blown glass from the early 1900s.

This month’s theme is anything pink or hints of pink or things that leave you ‘tickled pink’.
This wall hanging is made entirely from the foil covers on beer caps. It is hanging in the ROM.

Dinosaur ‘in the Pink’

The theme for squares this month is ‘In the Pink‘ and the one rule as always is that your main photograph must be square.
My first entry is from the ROM in Toronto where I saw this ‘pink’ dinosaur. As you can see it wasn’t really pink, just lit with pink lights. My granddaughter wanted to know what happened to his head.

At the beginning of the summer I went to the ROM and took in a show called Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion. This wonderful designer creates fashion that is a form of art that is closely related to her and her body. Her garments combine the often friction-filled world of technology and nature. She pushes the limits of haute couture.
