….day four of my personal drawing challenge
….for those who are keeping track of my doodling adventures
Late last night on the third day of January I cracked open my book or prompts and the next in line was ‘a mermaid’. I searched for an image that I thought I might be able to draw. I found one that was clearly a mermaid but didn’t have too many details to bog me down. Here is my attempt to draw a mermaid.

On Day 3 for SquareUp I’m posting my ring light, one of my requested Christmas presents. I’ve discovered that during Zoom meetings I’m always sitting in the dark or I have shadows over my face. Not sure if this is an improvement because now I look very pale. Unfortunately I tend to get pale in the winter anyway but that’s life.

…and another flower
Three years ago my daughter bought me a book of 500 art prompts. The first couple of weeks I was pretty good at sketching the prompts but for some reason I was hung up on the next prompt in the book and put it aside. For some reason I have a need to do the prompts in order and not skip any. I should have kept the book in plain sight but I put it back into my book shelf and forgot about it. Today I did the next two prompts and will keep the book next to my pens.
