….a new twist on Monster Monday
My husband is getting very serious about producing a children’s book using his monster drawings. To help him with his backgrounds and clean-up his paintings, he’s invested in a new iPad Pro and purchased Procreate.
Procreate is a wonderful program used for drawing and painting. There’s a steep learning curve for those of us who have never used a program like this before but Kevin is working on it every day. Here is his first Monster Monday using Procreate.

I knew it was too good to be true. We’ve had such a mild winter and very little snow and then all of a sudden we’ve had three major storms in the last three weeks. The second blast of winter melted away almost completely over the next two days because it was warm and sunny but yesterday’s snow will probably hang around for awhile.
…slowly getting back to drawing and painting
After months of recovery from pneumonia and then COVID, my husband is slowly getting back to his drawing table. So happy to see Monster Monday return.

….this year it was more about the pumpkins, decorations and squash
Usually the turkey is a big deal but when it’s just the two of us, we tend to keep things simpler. Leading up to Thanksgiving we stopped at some favourite places and picked up some gourds for decoration, lots of vegetables and yummy butter tarts.
