Weekly Prompts Wednesday Challenge – Home

….thanks to Sue W and GC for hosting Weekly Prompts https://weeklyprompts.com/2023/01/25/weekly-prompts-wednesday-challenge-home/

Home is where the heart is and my home and heart have lived at the same address for over 44 years. My favourite part of my home is my backyard where we’ve entertained over the years with family gatherings, memorials and milestone birthdays.

Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge – Bend

thanks to Sue W and GC for hosting the Weekly Prompts https://weeklyprompts.com/2023/01/21/weekly-prompts-weekend-challenge-bend/

Bending implies that you or something is flexible, either physically or mentally. When a person bends mentally they are able to see both sides of an opinion or argument and can ‘bend’ or change their own way of thinking. Bending physically is easier to demonstrate in photographs.

Weekly Prompts Colour Challenge – Citrus Sinensis

….thanks to Sue W. and GC for hosting the Weekly Prompts https://weeklyprompts.com/2022/11/05/weekly-prompts-colour-challenge-citrus-sinensis/

According to Wikipedia Citrus Sinensis is as follows: Citrus × sinensis (sometimes written Citrus sinensis), also known as the sweet oranges, is a commonly cultivated family of oranges that includes blood oranges and navel oranges.[1]

I was sure I was looking for a lemony yellow colour but it turns out it’s more orange and can include blood orange.

Blood Orange?
