Today we were to take our watercolour papers from Day 1 and find shapes that can be turned into fantasy creatures. I found an old man, a lamb, a fish, a gorilla and a couple birds.


This is one of my prep pages that I showed a few days ago. I first added some more colour and marks with watercolour and I used my Micron Pens and Sharpies to draw in a face and flowers.

Picked up my pencil crayons for this drawing. Reminded me of my childhood when switching from crayons to coloured pencils seemed like a step closer to adulthood.
Drawing doves and poppies has always symbolized the hope for peace. I feel like we need it more than ever.
