….sometimes finding trios requires changing your perspective and not always looking straight ahead

If you have any interesting trios to share with me, just copy the link to this post and paste it into your blog and I will get a pingback. Have fun!
….five swans
In the last photo I posted 1 swan and in this one there are five. Odd because yesterday there were no other swans to be seen and today, in the same area there were so many more. I captured this group together but there were more out on the lake.

Despite the very cold weather a large gaggle of geese and ducks were swimming close to the beach over at Col. Sam Smith Park yesterday. Right in the middle of this group of waterfowl was a lone swan.
…or should I say bird?
Lucille may be odd looking but she brings a smile to my face as does most of the art that Deniz Seker makes. She is one of the artists that is a member of WAAC and one of the first people that I was instantly drawn to when I first joined the Women’s Art Association. Thanks Deniz for introducing Lucille to us at the Collage Show.

I am a fan of swans and have lots of photos of them in the archives but I decided to go for a walk late this afternoon to see if I could find some close to home. I walked east of the house and stayed close to the edge of the parks looking for these beautiful birds. I one area where I usually see up to a dozen or more was inaccessible because the ramp to the lake was piled high with snow from the ploughs.
I continued further east and finally came across a flock of them about a kilometre or more from the house. Here are my swans in winter on the shores of Lake Ontario in Toronto.
