Thursday Trios at the Museum

Royal Ontario Museum

This afternoon I went to a concert that was around the corner from the ROM. Since I’m a member I decided to take a Quick Look at the Ancient Chinese Exhibit. There were lots of wonderful trios of statues, ceramics and zodiac figurines.

If you have any trios you’d like to share just copy my link and paste it into your post. Have fun!

Pic and a Word Challenge – Shoreline

thanks to Patrick Jennings for hosting the Pic and Word Challenge https://pixtowords.com/2024/11/06/shoreline-pic-and-a-word-challenge-394/

Most of the year I live close to the shoreline of Lake Ontario and in the summer my cottage is a two minute walk from Georgian Bay.

I’ve also been lucky enough to walk along the shoreline of the Bay of Fundy and the shorelines of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick on Canada’s East Coast.

RDP Monday – Graze

Busy, Busy, Busy….

with Halloween, a kitchen renovation and baking bread I’m finding it difficult to keep up with this blog

Yesterday was Hallowe’en and I did manage to get out to buy treats and some new decorations. Last year we had a record year for kids coming to our door. This year we set a new record and shelled out candy to 106 kids before we ran out of treats. We also had a first this year….a cat came to our door with her owner.

The weather was perfect for Hallowe’en and the parents and children came out in large numbers. It was nice enough to sit outside.

Today the kitchen renovation continues. More on that later.

Tuesday Textures at Baking

….from the firewood and bread bowls to the crust of the freshly baked bread

Every Tuesday and Wednesday, since 2018, I volunteer at Montgomery’s Inn and bake bread. The actual bread is baked in a wood fired outdoor oven.

Ghoulish Trios and Not So Ghoulish

for Thursday Trios, Oct. 24, 2024

Walking through the neighbourhood I continue to observe more and more decorations for Hallowe’en. Some are cute but most are on the scary side.

If you have any trios to share, just copy my link and paste it into your post. I’ll be sure to check it out and leave a comment. Have fun!
