Walking Squares for November – November 4, 2022

….thanks to Becky B for starting up the square challenge againhttps://beckybofwinchester.com/2022/11/04/walking-squares-4/

The theme for November is square photos taken while walking. Seeing that I try to walk every day this should be fun. The last few days have been very foggy.

This fog was a result of the cold ground, warm air and Lake air coming together. It lasted for days.
This new growth seemed to pop with the fog in the background
Looking up at the leaves of this gingko tree, it felt like the foggy background illuminated the leaves

Pull Up a Seat – Seating from the East Coast

thanks to XingFu Mama for hosting Pull Up a Seat https://xingfumama.blog/2022/11/04/pull-up-a-seat-photo-challenge-2022-week-43-2/

On my recent travels to New Brunswick I came across a few interesting resting places.

Even steps make great places to sit
A fun and moving seat for seven year olds
A place to pause and retie your shoes on the hike to Hopewell Rocks
A welcome resting spot after exploring Hopewell Rocks
At the lookout at Fundy National Park
The most interesting and artistic seating just outside my daughter’s studio

Thursday Trios from the Art Show

….from the Toronto Art Fair held last weekend at the Congress Centre

Loved seeing the art show come back. It was considerably smaller than the last one we went to in 2019 but there were some great pieces. The first trio sold on the first day all to the same buyer, at $6200. a piece. Well above our pay grade.

These wheat sheafs were used as decorations throughout the show
These miniature sculptures represented the elderly during COVID

New Flower (November 4, 2019) – Happy Birthday Rose

…..it’s my daughter’s 39th birthday today and I remember as I was leaving to go to the hospital to bring her into this world there was one lone rose left on my rosebush

The name of this rose is ‘Blessing’. How appropriate.
