…thanks to Jez for hosting I’m a Fan of….https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/07/29/exploring-the-national-trust-for-scotlands-robert-burns-birthplace-museum-fan-of/
I love the joy and satisfaction my husband gets from painting, especially in the summertime when he can paint in the backyard studio. He can get as messy as he likes and he listens to his favourite tunes. Sometimes he even gets up and starts dancing. This past week he sold one of his paintings. I wired it for him and we hung it up to get it off the floor so it wouldn’t get damaged before it is picked up.

…I thought I had a couple of good photos of geese trios
…but when I checked them out last Thursday I discovered that in one photo there was a fourth goose in the picture and in the second one I had cut off the head of one of the geese. I went back to where I saw the geese and they were gone.
I’ve been trying to go for longer walks since last week and not stopping too often to take photos but I did manage to find some trios that didn’t take away too much time from my walking goal.

If you have some trios you’d like to share just copy my link and paste it into your post. I’ll will get back to you and leave a comment. As you can see you don’t have to post it on a Thursday.
…thanks to Becky B for hosting Tree Square in July, https://beckybofwinchester.com/2021/07/29/tree-square-29/
Some trees were meant to be climbed. This might come as a surprise to some of my former students because I was always the teacher that made them get out of the trees that grew on the school property. Of course that was more of a liability thing and images of my younger sister falling from a tree and biting through her tongue is a memory that never goes away. Luckily for her some of her teeth hadn’t come through yet so her tongue stayed in place but she did need stitches.
