…this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is to find photos that have an ‘out of this world’ or alien quality to them

The challenge rules are quite simple. The most important one to remember is that your main photograph must be a square.
And that’s really the only rule! As whilst this is a daily blogging challenge it is entirely up to you how often you post. It is also up to you how you interpret the two themes.
Today’s post will be squaring the circle.

For the month of March, the challenge is to post a square photo of squares or circles within a square.

I’m combining today’s challenge with Evelyn’s Collage Challenge and my 365 days of art (day 52).
Week 8 of the Collage Challenge from the book The Collage Workbook by Randel Plowman is Reassemble. This week we were to take an image and cut it into squares of the same size. Then we were to reassemble the squares into a new collage. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of the original picture. It was an animated penguin.

This week’s challenge to go close with a shallow depth of field using words as our subject. I couldn’t figure out which one I liked best so I’ve submitted a few of them. Which is your favourite?

In life there are two kinds of structures; those that appear naturally in nature and those that are man-made.

…..this week’s theme is hanging clothes – use a simple frame
Every week Trablogger challenges us to take better photos.
I like the contrast with the diagonal lines in the top to the horizontal lines on the wall.
