A Month of Squares in March – Day 3

….thanks to Becky over at The Life of B for hosting #MarchSquares

The challenge rules are quite simple. The most important one to remember is that your main photograph must be a square.

And that’s really the only rule! As whilst this is a daily blogging challenge it is entirely up to you how often you post. It is also up to you how you interpret the two themes.

  1. ‘Squared Squares’ – think multiple squares and squares within squares
  2. ‘Squaring the Circle’ – the perfect post will be a circle within a square

Today’s post will be squaring the circle.

March Squares – Day 1

thanks to Becky for hosting March Squares

I’m combining today’s challenge with Evelyn’s Collage Challenge and my 365 days of art (day 52).

Week 8 of the Collage Challenge from the book The Collage Workbook by Randel Plowman is Reassemble. This week we were to take an image and cut it into squares of the same size. Then we were to reassemble the squares into a new collage. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of the original picture. It was an animated penguin.

Mundane Monday – #149 Words

…..thanks to Trablogger for hosting Mundane Monday

This week’s challenge to go close with a shallow depth of field using words as our subject. I couldn’t figure out which one I liked best so I’ve submitted a few of them. Which is your favourite?P1050893P1050897P1050900P1050901

Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge – Structure

….thanks Cee for hosting the Black and White Photo Challenge

In life there are two kinds of structures; those that appear naturally in nature and those that are man-made.

Mundane Monday Challenge – #148

…..this week’s theme is hanging clothes – use a simple frame

Every week Trablogger challenges us to take better photos.

I like the contrast with the diagonal lines in the top to the horizontal lines on the wall.
