My daily goal is to walk at least 10 000 but some days I fall a bit short. Last Sunday I managed over 13 000 steps because I headed out to the point over at Col. Sam Smith Park. This was the first time in quite awhile that I walked that far but it felt good. Along the way I took some of the less travelled paths, looking for interesting subjects to photograph.

These photos were taken on our way to the subway station from my daughter’s house. Lots of pathways, stairs and bridges.

This is my favourite time of year and one of my favourite places in the city of Toronto is High Park. The colours are amazing and magical.

…hiking around Sparrow Lake Camp
Last week our son and I drove up to Sparrow Lake to visit Brendan’s twin sister and her family who are living at the camp for the summer.
On our way home we stopped at Weber’s for dinner. We parked the car on the west side of the highway and crossed over on the pedestrian bridge.
