Today’s prompt is ‘intimidating’. As I walk through busy downtown areas such as London or Toronto, I find the massive skyscrapers somewhat intimidating. The shear height makes me feel like an ant that could be squashed at any moment.

I never get tired of the waterfront that I live close to (literally 100m from my house). It changes with the season, the wind, time of day and the weather. Earlier this week the water was dead calm. Very unusual for this time of year but the entire winter this year has been unusual. Little to no snow, mild temperatures, rain and then sudden drops in temperature that last for one to three days.

Square Odds – An Odd Number of Shoes With No Mates

When we talk about odd socks or odd shoes we usually mean that we can’t find the matching sock or shoe. I know that store displays often only put out one of a pair, probably to prevent theft.
