Even with the colder temperatures there are still places outside where one can sit and enjoy the view.

…..sorry for the late submission of my own challenge
I really have to learn to post my trios the night before or early in the morning. These photos were taken on Thursday evening when I was playing lawn bowling.

If you have photos of trios post them on your blog, title it Thursday Trios, copy my link and paste it into your post so that I get a pingback and I’ll be sure to comment on your post.

COVID numbers in Toronto and a few other urban areas in Ontario are on the rise so the government has closed bars, restaurants and gyms again in those cities most affected. We went for a walk through High Park this week looking for places to have a picnic later in the week. We were hoping to find washroom facilities and a place to purchase a coffee. We struck out in both areas. So sad to see these abandoned chairs at the Park’s only restaurant. The good news is that there are covered areas where we can sit and have a snack brought from home.
…. outdoor seating is well underused
In this day and age of social distancing sitting down in public places is getting almost taboo. On my walk yesterday I did come across some unused garden furniture (still too cold to enjoy) and park benches.
The first three shots were taken a few weeks ago before people were asked to social distance themselves.

Taking a break from my walk but as you can see no one is out and about.

On Thursday I made a quick trip to the library at WAAC. After a short meeting I decided to head over to the museum which is literally around the corner. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of people on the street and some were sitting on walls to take in a fabulous group of street musicians.
Inside the museum I only had time to visit one exhibit. I have a membership so I know that I can come back at any time and take a closer look at things that really interest me. I chose to walk around the ‘Treasures of a Desert Kingdom’. What a wonderfully rich display wealth, art and culture.
Some of the most interesting artefacts were the chairs, thrones and modes of transportation.
If you’re in Toronto check out this exhibit. The royal family is still in existence today and kindly loaned the artefacts and jewels to the ROM.

During our trip to the vineyards in the Niagara Region I noticed that a lot of the wineries were preparing for the good weather by bringing out their garden furniture. Unfortunately it’s not quite warm enough to ‘pull up a seat’ and enjoy the great outdoors.

It was quite another story over a Icellars where the seats were indoors and very comfy for wine tasting.

Between the Lines had some nice chairs inside as well but they seemed more ornamental than practical.

From the Heathrow coffee shop in London to a cafe in Argentina (thanks to my son for the last photo) I submit my entry for the Pull up a Seat Photo Challenge. All these photos include family members except the two wax dummies in the last photo. Enjoy!
