…this week’s bird is really laid back, I think he’s enjoying this lovely weather
…..a new perspective of some old favourites
Funny when I took these shots last week I thought they looked refinished. Somehow they seemed brighter and even new but when I checked a previous Monday Mural they were the same ones. These photos, however, are from a slightly different perspective. Maybe I’m feeling nostalgic because the building they’ve been painted on has been sold and there’s a chance that it may come down. That of course means that these iconic murals will be lost forever.

….paid it no mind when I was making them
The last two pieces of art that I made were intuitive pieces. I just laid down colours that were in from of me and then added some detail. Normally I go for brighter colours but maybe these somber colours say something about the drama going on in our lives the last month or more.

My Panasonic Lumix camera has been giving me some issues as of late so my brother-in-law suggested that I take some photos and see if the problem is on the display screen or on the lens. If it’s on the display screen the photos should come out okay. Here are the last photos on the card.

These were taken in my studio. The clay mask is a project that I worked on in my first ever pottery class.
