Friendly Friday Photo Challenge – Day Trip

Posted on July 13, 2019 by Mama Cormier

….thanks to Manja for co-hosting this week’s Friendly Friday Photo Challenge

A few weeks ago my son and I took a day trip to Sparrow Lake Camp in Gravenhurst. Our daughter and her family are living up there for the summer and it was our only opportunity for Brendan to see his twin sister before returning to London, England.

The staff was busy getting the camp ready for the first group of boys and girls who arrived earlier this week. We enjoyed a day of hiking and playing and some of the braver souls went for a swim.

Lens-Artists Challenge – #53 – Your Choice

Posted on July 10, 2019 by Mama Cormier

….thanks to Amy from The World is a Book for hosting the Lens-Artist Challenge

Congratulations to all the lens-artists who are celebrating their first birthday with this challenge. Amy has chosen connection as her theme.

My special connection takes place on the beach at Christian Island where the forces of nature never cease to amaze me. Every year the shoreline changes as the waves erode the plants when the water levels are high and when the levels are low we are blessed with a massive beach. This year the levels are high and the invading plants and trees have been washed away.

Kammie’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge – July 4, 2019

….thanks to Kammie for hosting the Odd Ball Challenge

You can find all kinds of odd things in the sand and sometimes your 3 1/2 year old granddaughter asks you to take some odd ball photos of her snack and of her unusual attire upon her head.
