I knew it was too good to be true. We’ve had such a mild winter and very little snow and then all of a sudden we’ve had three major storms in the last three weeks. The second blast of winter melted away almost completely over the next two days because it was warm and sunny but yesterday’s snow will probably hang around for awhile.

Some birds hang out all winter long, especially the waterfowl. On my walk recently the ducks were close to shore and didn’t seem to mind me being there.

I love museums. How could I not, when I have a son who is a curator at the Victoria and Albert in London, England and I am a volunteer at Montgomery’s Inn, one of Toronto’s Historical Museums.
We have have numerous museums in Toronto, the most famous being the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum). My husband and I have been members for years and love taking friends from out of town and in town to the museum as our guests.
