Looking for something mundane and turning it into a beautiful photo is the challenge. The remnants of a corn husk after the field was plowed. I loved the textures and the contrasting colours in this photo.

    • This last shot was taken by my son on his way back from Chicago to London. The island at the north end of the shot is Christian Island where our cottage is situated.

On the way up to the cottage this weekend I decided to take photos from the front seat of my car. Seeing that my husband was driving I decided to experiment with my iPhone as we were zipping along the highway up to Georgian Bay.

Last week I went to Niagara-on-the Lake to take in an afternoon show at the Old Courthouse. As we walked back to the car I couldn’t help but notice the lovely doors on the homes close to the downtown area.
