…these pretty wildflowers were everywhere on the Bruce Trail yesterday

Our weekly walk took us on a path along the Etobicoke Creek close to our home. The mouth of the creek opens up to Lake Ontario and we started our walk from there. We drove to Marie Curtis Park and headed up along the paved path. We had no idea how far we were going to go but after 2.7 k we were forced to turn around because the path was closed for repairs.

As you can see from the sign we have a lot more exploring to do when the trail opens up again. Looking forward to a much longer hike next time.

….I secretly love gnomes
Thanks to Becky B for hosting Bright Square. Every day this month we are encouraged to take square photos of anything bright. Here is my newest addition to my gnome collection and it is certainly the brightest one I have. I suspect after one summer in the sun it will fade like the others but that will just add to his character. https://beckybofwinchester.com/2021/04/04/bright-square-4/

Since I missed yesterday I have two for today.
Camping in the local parks is prohibited but these girls were merely sheltering themselves from the cold wind coming off the lake. I knew there were girls in the tent from from all the chatter and giggles I heard as I walked by with my dog.

Seeing this swarm of seagulls over that bright blue water of Lake Ontario was a bright spot in my day.
