Apparently yesterday was World Frog Day and of course Tonguely had to jump right on that. Tonguely is getting a lot of traction this week but I guess it’s not every day that your species has a special day named after you.

After Tonguely hijacked Wacky Bird Wednesday to wish you a Happy St. Patrick’s Day he encountered the wrath of some of those birds. Should we feel sorry for him? Do you think he learned his lesson?

The last 10 days have been glorious. It started last week when we travelled to Niagara Falls for the day and the temperature rose to 20 degrees celsius. That practically t-shirt weather. I’ve seen signs of an early spring almost every day but in between we’ve had a few chilly days. Here are a few sure signs that spring isn’t far off.
People wearing shorts and t-shirts, enjoying the sun in the park, drinking coffee outside, daffodils in the markets, children playing in the park, wildflowers popping up through the brown leaves, beaver activity and grass turning green.
…on St. Patrick’s Day
Normally a wacky bird appears in this time slot but Tonguely just couldn’t help himself and hijacked this page to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
Looks like Tonguely got into the green beer a little early today.
