Now that spring has arrived the Centennial Park Conservatory staff have created a wonderful new display of the most glorious spring flowers. The first thing that hits you before you even enter the room is the perfume smell from those beautiful flowers. The feature room changes at least five times a year if not more often. It’s well worth the visit if you live in Toronto or close by.

On my walk today, it was very overcast but I still love the beauty in these dried leaves, milk weed pods and vines.
….despite the cold temperatures there are signs everywhere that spring is here
Today the sun is out and the temperatures are above freezing….momentarily.

…after wondering if my plant was mislabelled it turns out that Apricot Parrot Tulips can take on a multitude of colours
The one distinguishing feature of these tulips is that when they are fully open they lie flat.

…now that my series is done I’m ready to go back to painting on canvas
