My Morning Tuesday Walk

…..a little windy and cooler today

Despite the chilly winds, especially when the clouds pass over the sun, it was a beautiful morning for a walk and taking photos. I love the colour of the sky on mornings like this and how it reflects onto the water. Let me take you on my walk through my photos.

Water, Water Everywhere – #119 – What a Difference a Week Can Make

thanks to Jez for hosting Water, Water Everywhere https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2022/03/28/canal-reflections-water-water-everywhere-119/

Last week, the rain cleared away the last bits of snow, the sun warmed up the air and the ground and I even sat on a log by the beach and enjoyed watching the ducks on the lake and the Great Blue Heron on the pond.

…..and then the temperature dropped and we woke up to this on Sunday morning.

It’s still icy cold and this morning more snow fell after I dropped my daughter and her family off at the airport. When they arrived in Moncton, N.B. they were greeted with hail. Ahhhh, winter in Canada. Luckily, we know that spring is just around the corner but we can’t put the boots away just yet.

The Odd Man Out – Square Odds

….thanks to Becky B for hosting Square Odds, here’s mine for Feb. 19, 2022https://beckybofwinchester.com/2022/02/19/the-square-odds-19/

Despite the very cold weather a large gaggle of geese and ducks were swimming close to the beach over at Col. Sam Smith Park yesterday. Right in the middle of this group of waterfowl was a lone swan.
