Thursday Trios – Beware of Threes
…some threes, like the three leaves on poison ivy can be very problematic if you tough them

Apart from the poison ivy there is no impending danger from the other two photos, unless, however, you were to help yourself to one of the pairs of shoes that were openly displayed at the edge of someone’s front lawn. They looked like they were put out for people to take but how would you feel if someone accused you of stealing them?
Do you have any interesting photos of trios? Join the fun. Copy the link from this post and paste it into your own post and I should get a pingback.
Tree Square – July 7, 2021
….thanks to Becky B for hosting Tree Square https://beckybofwinchester.com/2021/07/07/tree-square-7/
I can’t believe that I forgot about the square challenge for July and it’s about trees. Those of you who know me know how much I love to photograph trees. I’m going to make up for being late by posting a bunch of trees today.

Our First Walk on the Beach
…last week my daughter, daughter-in-law and I drove up to Christian Island to open up our cottage for the season
We lucked out with the weather. It only rained at night and the hot blistering temperatures from the west haven’t yet arrived this far east. After spending the evening cleaning the inside of the cottage (sweeping out the mouse poop, airing out the cushions, setting up the fridge, making up the beds, and putting away the food) we decided to explore the beach the next morning.
Luckily we have a beach again. The water levels have receded and the numerous trees that had started to grow on the beach have disappeared.

Friday Fun Challenge – Lichen
…thanks to Kate for hosting Friday Fun https://aroused.blog/2020/12/05/friday-fun-lichen/
I’ve always been fascinated with Lichen. Those dusty colours and frilly textures are very appealing to me. I had to go back into the archives for these shots.
