I think this is the third time that I’ve referenced Camden Passage. I love areas like this.

The V&A East Storehouse officially opens to the public this weekend. Kevin and I were given a private tour of the facility on Thursday by our son Brendan.
Vivienne Chow from Artnet News has written an excellent article about this amazing space and one press release said that ´the museum is the exhibit’ . https://news.artnet.com/art-world/inside-va-east-storehouse-2651021?amp=1

One place where you can actually pull up a seat is here where you can recline back and enjoy this wooden Spanish fresco from the 15th century.

Here are a few more seats to enjoy.

If you live in London or are planning a trip to this great city, the V&A East Storehouse is a must see.

What an amazing place. I’ll be writing about our visit in a separate post. If you have any photos of trios to share just copy my link and paste it into your post. I’ll be sure to check it out.

…at the ROM
Last week I took a quick walk through the exhibition of quilts from The Quilts Made in Canada show. It wasn’t a very big show and one could easily see all of it in under 10 minutes. Here is a close-up of one of the quilts on display and I posted the full size so that you could see just how tiny the squares really are.

…Royal Ontario Museum
This afternoon I went to a concert that was around the corner from the ROM. Since I’m a member I decided to take a Quick Look at the Ancient Chinese Exhibit. There were lots of wonderful trios of statues, ceramics and zodiac figurines.

If you have any trios you’d like to share just copy my link and paste it into your post. Have fun!

Sometimes seats aren’t meant to be sat on and in order to ensure that people don’t plant themselves on antique chairs, the owner put teasels on the seat. This was the case at Sir John Soane’s Museum in London.

This place is well worth a visit and if you do have mobility issues there are special chair where you can sit down.
