Tuesday Textures – Dundee Contemporary Arts

Exhibition by Sukaina Kubba

Sukaina Kubba is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is strongly rooted in material and cultural research, storytelling, and drawing connections. The artist works with industrial and packaging materials, and explores travelling objects, and textile. All this gives her pieces a very textural feel.

The Tay is the longest river in Scotland and the sixth longest in the United Kingdom. It starts in the Scottish Highlands, and moves east until it goes through Perth. Its mouth is wide, and is called the Firth of Tay on the east coast. Dundee is on the north bank of the Firth. https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Tay
