The theme for August 10th was ‘visitor’. While at the beach up at the cottage we were graced with the presence of this gull. He actually came quite close to where we were lounging. They’re a pretty fearless bird. I’m sure he was hoping we had some food to share with him.

I’m a big fan of the beach down from my cottage on Georgian Bay. Last weekend the beach was quiet. It was a beautiful weekend but most people stayed in the city. I’m not complaining because I loved the solitude and spending time with my dog, Frances.
