Despite the very cold weather a large gaggle of geese and ducks were swimming close to the beach over at Col. Sam Smith Park yesterday. Right in the middle of this group of waterfowl was a lone swan.

Park Benches in the Winter
….found these ‘sentiments’ hanging in the bushes down at the park
Sentiments is the word a passerby used when I pointed out these wreaths hanging from the shrubs at the edge of the park. What I found even more odd was that each wreath had a ring either hanging on the wreath or hanging on a branch close by. I have no idea what the sentiment symbolizes or whom it represents. Has anyone out there seen something like this before and do you know what they represent?

….Tonguely and the gang are at the Olympics
Tonguely’s bobsled team reminds me of the Jamaican team back in 1988. They captured the world’s attention and gave it their all. Now they are back in 2022 in China. Good luck guys. Tonguely looks like he’s having fun but I’m not sure he understands the skill involved in this dangerous sport.

Kevin is back at his drawing board but in the basement apartment and not in his studio. After I did all the cooking for the last 10 days Kevin treated me to a dinner last night that he managed to cook. He’s doing it again tonight. He just can’t help himself. He loves cooking so much that he climbs up the stairs from downstairs. I’m sure that he’s calling it part of his physiotherapy and he seems to be managing well.
On the drawing board, Kevin’s mice returned to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day. Did you reach out to someone today to do a random act of kindness? If not, you have till Sunday to do something kind. For that matter you don’t need a special day or week to perform a random act of kindness. Give it a try.
