An Eclectic Collection of Trios

….for this week’s Thursday Trios I have a variety of subjects

Sorry for the delay for this week’s Thursday Trios. I had every intention of posting right after I returned from visiting a friend who is convalescing in long term care. While I was there the city was hit with a massive rain storm and when I got home I discovered that our internet was out. It took hours before it got up and running again.

Summer Wildflowers in the City

….Toronto has many naturalized parks where nature is encouraged and wildflowers flourish

On my many walks I love photographing flowers, cultivated and wild. The following are just some of the beautiful wildflowers that grow along the lake in my neighbourhood.

Mid August and Signs of Cooler Days to Come

….right now we’re going through a bit of a heat wave

On one of my walks this week I noticed that there were signs all over the place that autumn is not too far off. Usually cooler nights cause the colours to start changing but right now the nights are pretty warm but earlier this summer that wasn’t the case. Anyway the sumac is starting to change, the berries are starting to ripen and the apples are turning red.
