The Princes Street Park has wonderful pathways and the steep staircase leads you to the end or the beginning of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Many cemeteries in the UK are places to walk, sit and enjoy the view. This one in Edinburgh was located behind the St. John’s Scottish Episcopal Church. Nestled among the tombstones are places to sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee from the cafe inside the church.

Today’s daily prompt is picture books. I loved Mies van Hout’s books about friendship and feelings. They made for great discussion starters in my classes and the drawings inspired many art lessons as well.
