It’s difficult for me to post on the weekend when I’m at the cottage. I have no electricity or internet. I’m lucky if I get a bar or two on my phone. If I do it’s short lived and I can quickly check for messages or a few emails. Hence this weekend challenge is being posted on Tuesday.

My favourite chairs are back at the cottage that has a lakefront view and a new bench has appeared by the dock. Love how the whole thing is made with birch logs.

This weekend I finally opened my cottage. It is truly my special place. I normally open sooner but I was so busy with my art show that this was the first opportunity I had to go up with my daughter. Opening up is always a big job and I knew that I couldn’t do it on my own so having Andrea with me made the whole process so much easier and more fun. Here are a few images from the north shore at Big Sand Bay and from the dock.
