Thursday’s Trio – Delayed but not Forgotten

I thought I had a couple of good photos of geese trios

…but when I checked them out last Thursday I discovered that in one photo there was a fourth goose in the picture and in the second one I had cut off the head of one of the geese. I went back to where I saw the geese and they were gone.

I’ve been trying to go for longer walks since last week and not stopping too often to take photos but I did manage to find some trios that didn’t take away too much time from my walking goal.

If you have some trios you’d like to share just copy my link and paste it into your post. I’ll will get back to you and leave a comment. As you can see you don’t have to post it on a Thursday.

October Colours – Yellow

thanks to City Sonnets for hosting October Colours and letters https://citysonnet.wordpress.com/2020/10/01/october-colors-and-letters-2/

I love autumn colours and I had every intention of posting all the yellows of Autumn in a future post but when this challenge came up I decided that today was as good a day as any. Some of these photos were taken in the neighbourhood parks and others were from my walk through High Park yesterday.

New Flower (September 10, 2017) – Common Sunflower

….the giants of the flower family

Now that summer is coming to a close these giant sunflowers are starting to loose their seeds and bend their heads. I was lucky to see them in different locations this week. The first was at Weber’s on my way to Kashe Lake and the second at Dundurn Castle in Hamilton.
