….an of October and I’m still getting vegetables from my garden
I’ll probably be picking kale well into November. There are still lots of cherry tomatoes but as it gets colder the odds of them ripening on the vine diminishes.

My square photo is very similar to Becky’s photo today. This lovely Autumn planter has beautiful peppers at the base of the arrangement. Does anyone know if these peppers are edible?

Opposing colours are the same as complimentary colours; red and green, blue and orange, and purple and yellow.
…..from the Royal Winter Fair
I always enjoy looking at the prize winning produce at the Royal. This year did not disappoint. The giant pumpkins are always a big hit and there was a good variety of oversized root vegetables (some completely unrecognizable). This year there was also a display of perfectly formed vegetables that were grown in a greenhouse.
