…not a long walk….it was pretty cold

…after a long distance video call with our son
….I took his advice and went for a long walk along the water’s edge of Lake Ontario TV in the neighbourhood. It was above freezing but with the wind chill factor it felt much colder.

All in all it was a beautiful night and I’m now closer to my daily walking goal.
….darkness comes upon us as early as 5:00 and the days continue to get shorter every day
When I talk about walking at night, it’s more like late afternoon but it’s dark enough for the Christmas lights to come on. Today I received my new iPhone and I wanted to test out the camera. It has a few more features than my last phone but it will probably take me awhile to figure them out.

Thanks to Becky B for hosting walking squares. Hard to believe that there is only one more day left in this challenge. https://beckybofwinchester.com/2022/11/29/walking-squares-29/

It’s that time of year. The Christmas decorations and lights are popping up, the malls are getting busy and our computers are getting a workout with on-line shopping. After a two year absence, churches are opening their doors for annual Christmas Bazaars and Craft Sales. That’s where my walk took me today…..St. Margaret’s Anglican Church.

Check out Becky’s post today. It’s perfect for my challenge Thursday Trios.
This is the second time in one month that we’re experiencing dense fog over the city. It was only suppose to last a couple of hours but here it is 12 hours later and it’s still hanging over the neighbourhood.

… this is the tree before we raked up 31 bags of those gorgeous leaves

Today as I started on my walk I noticed that the neighbours were out with their rakes and yard bags helping our friend on the corner. Ms. I was recovering from knee surgery and her husband was in Florida helping a friend. They asked me if I had more leaf bags so I walked back to my house and retrieved the extra bags that we had plus my rake. Did I ever mention that I actually like raking leaves.
