…which do you think it is?
On my walk yesterday I looked up and saw what I thought was a vapour trail. Upon closer inspection I wondered if it could be clouds or maybe it’s both. Where do you stand?

Vapor trails dispersing into clouds. I’ve watched this so many times from when my grandma lived near a military base.

Definatley vapour trails spreading out into cirrus; there’s even a meteorological code for it 😃

One of my jobs in the Navy was as a Meteorologist & Oceanographer; Susan was a Meteorologist as well 😃

They are contrails.
These are produced by the aircraft engine exhaust.

I think you’re right. Some look like they’ve gone through a cloud.
