Day 47 – The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating
…this little book inspired today’s sketch
Elisabeth Bailey’s outlook on life changed when a friend gifted her a pot of violets into which she placed a wild snail. She was suffering from a mysterious disease which left her bedridden and separated from her from the natural world. This tiny creature helped her reconnect with life and she slowly started to heal.

Day 46 – One More Page for Lesson 3
…I’m loving working on these fantasy creatures
Back to Sketching in my Journal

On day 45 I needed a less time consuming drawing so I did some sketches of the Flowers that are in the bouquet that Kevin bought for me.
Monster Monday – Bad Hare Day
…take this anyway you want
Thanks to my talented husband for making Monster Monday a thing.
Big, Bold Fantasy Creatures
…on day 44 I wanted to create larger creatures
Day 43 – Second Piece for Christina Romeo’s Lesson Three
…my assignment for Fantasy Character Illustrations
Day 42 – Lesson Three
…from Christina Romeo’s class
Today we were to take our watercolour papers from Day 1 and find shapes that can be turned into fantasy creatures. I found an old man, a lamb, a fish, a gorilla and a couple birds.
Day 41 – Adding a Face to a Collaged Page
This is one of my prep pages that I showed a few days ago. I first added some more colour and marks with watercolour and I used my Micron Pens and Sharpies to draw in a face and flowers.
