Blind Contour Drawings to Adding Colour

day 32 of my daily art challenge

I’ve done blind contour drawings before. They are suppose to be a good way to warm up when you want to sketch an object. I took photos of the objects so that you can see what I was trying to draw blind and then semi-blind. After the warm-up I drew the object and then added watercolour.

Tuesday Textures – Autumn Flora

Autumn is the best time of year to find interesting textures in nature and gardens. The textures range from brittle leaves to spiky seed heads to velvety lamb’s ear.

Dried Up – Day 16

thanks to Becky B for hosting January Squares https://beckybofwinchester.com/2021/01/16/square-up-16/

Who says that dried up means ugly or lacking in beauty? I personally love how dried up leaves and plants look on a winter’s day.
