Which Way Photo Challenge – My Longest Walk This Year

….thanks to San from Alive and Trekking for hosting the Which Way Photo Challenge https://aliveandtrekking.com/2023/04/21/which-way-photo-challenge-april-21/

My daily goal is to walk at least 10 000 but some days I fall a bit short. Last Sunday I managed over 13 000 steps because I headed out to the point over at Col. Sam Smith Park. This was the first time in quite awhile that I walked that far but it felt good. Along the way I took some of the less travelled paths, looking for interesting subjects to photograph.

Water, Water Everywhere – Grimsby Beach

thanks to Jez for hosting Water, Water Everywhere https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2021/04/19/reflections-1-water-water-everywhere-74/

Today we drove to Grimsby, ON to check out the village of Grimsby and Grimsby Beach. Grimsby is located on the shores of Lake Ontario and is south of Hamilton.

The first stop we made was Grimsby Beach Park. It’s a truly magical setting, with parkland, a rocky beach, pathways and brightly painted cottages (more about that in another post).
