….we have toads everywhere at the cottage
It seems that everywhere you walk a toad jumps out of your way. I’m afraid that I’m going to step on one of these guys, especially the tiny ones.

The road leading to our cottage is easy to spot from the beach because of an old tree that once housed a. tree house for the kids. Over the years the boards disappeared and slowly the tree started to die off. All that remains to this day is this elongated stump. No one wants to remove it.
