I love walking through the Colonel Sam Smith Park in South Etobicoke (west end of Toronto) and strolling along the walkways but I also like to take some of the side trails to see where they take me.

I love the waves on Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay where our cottage is. I won’t be going to the cottage for at least another month but the lake by our house never fails to provide some magnificent waves.

Where do I start with the prompt ‘garden’? It seems that at least 50% of my posts are around flowers. I’ve decided to go back and find some of the more interesting gardens that I’ve visited over the years.

The Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, ON
