When Kevin gave me the first drawing to submit for this week’s Wacky Bird Wednesday he admitted that it wasn’t that Wacky so he drew another one which was much more wacky. Do you have a favourite?

Picked up my pencil crayons for this drawing. Reminded me of my childhood when switching from crayons to coloured pencils seemed like a step closer to adulthood.
Drawing doves and poppies has always symbolized the hope for peace. I feel like we need it more than ever.

This page was a lot of fun. I really didn’t know how I was going to approach the marks that I had laid down but I remembered how I used to create birds from scraps of paper. I decided to use the blobs like I would paper scraps and the plaid below became a fence.
