Thank goodness he didn’t leave it up to me. Yesterday was a busy art afternoon with my granddaughter via Zoom and I honestly didn’t have the energy to make more art when I was done. More of that in the next post.

Purple Rain Bird

…my version of Prince as a bird

On Saturday I took an on-line class with Mark Brewer from Etchr Labs and learned about sketching characters and adding watercolour. All of us in the class did the same bird. It was fun and because it was a Zoom class we could see everyone’s work at the end of the hour.

Now Kevin thinks I should take over Wednesday’s Wacky Bird. Too much pressure and besides I wouldn’t want to take away the joy he gets from drawing his lovely birds. Maybe I’ll contribute once in awhile.
