Tuesday Textures – From Cracked to Thorny

and everything in between

Autumn is the perfect time to find textures on plant materials. As they age they crack, crinkle and become brittle.

Art at the Farm – PPAC

….thanks to Marsha for hosting PPAC https://alwayswrite.blog/2022/09/09/ppac-63-a-day-of-public-mourning/

On my last trip to the cottage I stopped at Harris Farm to check out the pumpkins and produce. There were tons of pumpkins in all sizes and colours and part of the field had been set up for the kids to play games. They also took hay bales and painted fun characters from Winnie the Pooh.

Oct. 3 – Lines in Stained Glass

….thanks to Becky B for hosting October Squares

Last weekend the Historic Museums of Toronto hosted the Big Draw. Each museum featured numerous art activities to involve the community. At Montgomery’s Inn one of the activities was painting the windows in the gallery and meeting room. When done it looked like a giant stained glass mural. Here is part of it.
