Every winter a tree comes down on our lot at the cottage. It might be due to age, infestation, crowding, disease or a number of other reasons. This one fell across our pathway to the beach but our kind neighbour got out her saw and cleared the path for us.
…..our own ‘Nessie’ the Lake Ontario monster?
Obviously it’s just part of a fallen tree but it reminded me of the Loch Ness Monster. Do you have any odd ball photos to share with Cee?

…..when high winds and age don’t mix well
These poor trees snapped right at the base of the root. I’ve never seen one go down like this. They usually lose large branches or split down the middle.
