….Nancy Merrill is challenging us to take three separate photos of the same subject
I love these kind of photo challenges but the biggest challenge for me narrowing down my subject matter. I may have to do more than one of these posts.
….a little late with this one but thanks to Something to Ponder for hosting this week’s challenge
….thanks to Becca Givens for hosting Sunday Trees
Even though it’s Easter weekend our trees still don’t have any foliage or blossoms to speak of. It’s a little depressing to say the least.
Look how green it is in London, England where our son lives.

….thanks to Kammie for hosting the Odd Ball Challenge
I’m always looking for odd ball subjects to photograph. Here are a few things I’ve come across on my walks lately.

This is my granddaughter with her older cousin from her father’s side of the family. Thanks to my daughter for sending me this photo.
….thanks to Amanda for hosting the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge
I adore photos of raindrops. Since we’ve only just seen the last of our snow I had to dig into the archives for these photos.

Every week I work with fire as we bake our bread for the inn and the Farmers’ Market in an outdoor bake oven. There’s also an old fireplace in the tearoom that we light when the weather is particularly cold. I couldn’t resist including the fire from my daughter’s birthday cake. I love how it illuminates our granddaughter’s face.
