….now that the weather is colder and painting outside is no longer an option my husband has decided to work on smaller pieces
One of the things that Kevin is particularily good at is drawing or illustrating fun creatures. He initially started making drawings for our first granddaughter over a year ago and then suddenly stopped. This week he decided it was time to bring back Monster Mondays and Tuesday Birds. Here are his first two drawings.

Monster Monday is back. It looks like that sweet Sunday Rabbit was nibbling on this monster’s horns.
Winnie hasn’t seen today’s drawing. I’ll come back tomorrow with her comment if she makes one.
….oh no, are they too scary again?
Monday’s Monster Monday generated this response from our granddaughter, “That’s a scary monster.” A few weeks ago she didn’t want to look at the Monday drawings because she knew they were monsters and monsters are scary. We’ll see how she responds to next week’s drawing.
….a change of heart from two weeks ago
When today’s Monster Monday showed up on What’s App our granddaughter had a very different reaction from two weeks ago. If you remember she declared then that she didn’t want to see Monday’s drawing because she knew it would be a monster and monsters are scary.
Today she said. “It’s a Valentine Monster. That’s really cool!”
….why is he sad Papa?
This was Winnie’s comment today. Kevin promised to make him a friend so he wouldn’t be sad. She seemed to like that answer.
….our granddaughter decided today that monsters are too scary and she wanted to see the fish from Friday again….????
