The Greenhouse at Centennial Park is Open Again

with a few COVID precautions in place

It was wonderful to be able to walk through the greenhouse again and take in all the beautiful flowers. Right now Poinsettias are the feature flower in honour of the Christmas season. As you walk in you are greeted by a maiden of succulents and as you exit there is a second maiden all decked out in succulents.

The greenhouse on the north side is where the poinsettia display is housed. There are so many wonderful varieties and colours and in between there are whimsical birdhouses.

Sunday Trees – 435

…thanks to Becca Givens for hosting Sunday Trees

One of the things that I can probably do during this Covid-19 shut down is get out to the parks and walk around and take photos of trees. None of them will have their leaves yet but the bones of winter trees always make for interesting photographs. This one was taken a few weeks ago.16022-CB9-FE62-411-E-AD31-A5-F6-A096483-D

New Flower (March 15, 2020) – Green Pinwheel Aeonium

I’m running out of flower photos. Not sure how much longer I can run my New Flower posts. Even the conservatory where I’ve photographed many of my recent flowers has shut down for at least three weeks because of Covid-19.
