Water, Water Everywhere – On a Clear Day

thanks to Jez for hosting Water, Water Everywhere https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2025/07/14/clyde-reflections-water-water-everywhere-273/

Canada has had over 700 wildfires across the country, mostly in the north, that many communities are feeling the effects of. Toronto has had some of the worst air quality days in the country. There are days when you can barely make out the city skyline because of the haze.

When there is a bit of a breeze we get some relief and actually experience beautiful days over the lake.

Serenity

this week’s Lens-Artists Challenge

Thank you to Egidio from Through Brazilian Eyes https://throughbrazilianeyes.com/lens-artists-challenge-348-serenity/

Serenity for me has always been looking over lake up at my cottage or enjoying a cup of coffee with a book on the deck.

When Dad lived with us he used to love going down to the park at the end of the our street and sitting on the bench or his walker and just enjoying the view of his ‘ocean’, which was actually Lake Ontario.

iPhone Friday – Looking Back 10 Years

thanks to Jensen for hosting iPhone Friday https://dutchgoesthephoto.net/2025/04/25/iphone-friday-27/

Looking back 10 years ago. It’s rare to see trumpeter and mute swans so close together. The trumpeter are the ones with the yellow tags.

There is no particular theme this week so I’ve chosen to post photos of angles, both geometric and organic.
